“I came to Riddins Mound in February 2010 when I was asked to leave my family home after becoming involved in football-related violence.
When I arrived, I didn’t want to do anything with my life, but the support staff here worked closely with me to address my outlook.
12 months on, I have transformed my life. I have enrolled on a barber and hairdresser’s course at Heathfield Sixth Form College and secured two work placements.
I also play an active role in Riddins Mound’s customer meetings, helping to improve services, and participate in town and neighbourhood meetings held at Cradley Heath Salvation Army. I’ve grown up and changed a lot since coming to Riddins Mound.”
